This means that our trained airbrush staff is the very best around and has the most experience, which is a MUST for a flawless long lasting airbrush tan. It takes only minutes to complete the airbrush itself, but allow 20-30 minutes for the overall experience. Our exceptional staff applies a sugar based solution
onto your body, giving you a completely customized color. You can
decide how tan you want to be! You obtain instant color and only 1 application is needed to see results.
The solution is sprayed on very easily, quickly, and virtually flawless. The result is very natural, we only use the best in spray tan solutions so you won't end up with an "orange glow". The tan should last 7-10 days by itself, but with the use of our extend lotion it will last at least 2 weeks. It is recommended that a person waits at
least four to six hours before showering or sweating, but we recommend waiting
overnight for the best, long lasting results.
For best results, we recommend the following Before your airbrush appointment:
- Please make your appointment 24-48 hours before any event for which you want to be tan
- Shower and exfoliate. You need to get down to the virgin skin layer in order for your skin not to become blotchy and for the tan to last its longest. We have a body scrub you can purchase that is especially formulated for the airbrush to give you the best results.
- Try not to use any deodorant, lotion, or oils on your body the day of your appointment. If you are extremely dry you can use a small amount of mineral oil-free lotion.
- Do not use any Dove products on the day of the appointment as this creates a barrier on the skin which will make the tan fade very quickly
- Wear loose fitting, preferably dark clothing. Some of the bronzer may come off on your clothing. This is a water based solution so it should come right off in the wash.
- Wear what you feel comfortable in for the airbrush session, whether that be a bathing suit, undergarments, or not much at all, it is up to you. For your convenience we provide a disposable g-string for the women, but sorry men you must wear your own undergarments.
After-Tan Care
- After your tan, wait 4-6 hours before you shower.
- If you notice any flaws on your skin prior to
your first shower, they are likely rubs from clothing. Remember to wash
only the palms of your hands until after your first post-tan shower. Do
not attempt to blend flaws or fix spots that may occur from water
splashes from hand washing. These flaws usually only affect the bronzer
and your tan will almost always be even after your first shower. During
your first shower, the color run off is also just the bronzer used as a
color guide so that the technician can see that she is applying your tan
evenly. This color is not your tan.
- Wait until after your first post-tan shower to exercise. Your new tan needs to fully develop before excessive sweating.
- Scrubbing, exfoliating, shaving, and waxing will cause the tan to fade more quickly.
Swimming and soaking in pools, hot tubs, and saltwater dry out your skin and shorten the life of your tan.
- The more you moisturize the longer your tan
will last. Try our Tan Extend lotion, which contain
our sunless solution. This moisturizing enhancer prolongs the life of
your tan by gradually depositing our solution into your skin. The
enhancer also helps the tan breakdown more evenly.
- During the week after your tanning session,
try to avoid using exfoliating products. These products shorten the
life of your tan. Only use them before a tanning session or to help
remove the remnants of an old tan.
- Like any beauty routine, proper preparation, skin care, and upkeep are required to make the most of your Airbrush Tan.
