Our salon offers the BEST Airbrush Tanning service in the area! Golden Glow Tanning was one of the first salons in the San Jose area to offer this service. Our trained airbrush staff is the very best around and has the most experience, which is a MUST for a flawless long lasting airbrush tan. It takes only minutes to complete the spray tan itself, but allow 20-30 minutes for the overall experience. Our exceptional staff applies a sugar based solution
onto your body, giving you a completely customized color. You can
decide how tan you want to be! You obtain instant color and only 1 application is needed to see results.
The solution is sprayed on very easily, quickly, and virtually flawless. The result is very natural, we only use the best in spray tan solutions so you won't end up with an "orange glow". The tan should last 5-7 days by itself, but with the use of our extend lotion it will last about 2 weeks. It is recommended that a person waits at
least four to six hours before showering. We suggest booking your appointment earlier in the day so you can shower before bed.
For best results, we recommend the following Before your airbrush appointment:
- Make your appointment 24-48 hours before any event for which you want to be tan
- Shower with bar soap and exfoliate. If you decide to shave please wash off the shaving cream with soap as it creates a barrier. If you have very fair skin, wait to shave until after the tan.
- We recommend purchasing our exfoliation/prepping towelette which is specially formulated for the airbrush to give you the best results and can be used at the salon just before the airbrush.
- Don't use any deodorant, lotion, or oils on your body just before your appointment.
- Do not use any Dove products on the day of the appointment as this creates a barrier which will not allow the solution to adhere to the skin
- Wear loose fitting, preferably dark clothing. Some of the bronzer may come off on your clothing. This is a water based solution so it should come right off in the wash.
- Wear what you feel comfortable in for the airbrush session, whether that be a bathing suit, undergarments, or not much at all, it is up to you. For your convenience we provide a disposable g-string for the women, but sorry men you must wear your own undergarments.
Please call for an appointment. Our last airbrush is 1 hour before close. For best results we recommend an appointment earlier in the day to ensure an even tan.
